About Our Charity

Starling Collective is Belfast based Charity that works with people that have come here seeking asylum or have been granted refugee status. We have a trauma informed and holistic approach, which is person focused and needs led. 

Who We Are ?

Our founders have over 20 years’ experience working in the sector. It’s in our Constitution and is our ethos to empower those we work with. We do this by having a steering group of people with lived experience, who help decide, plan and deliver the services that we offer.

     A few words from some of the people we support..

It was a very humbling experience, it’s not easy to receive that kind of help for some of us as we don’t have families here. So we rely mostly on strangers.

They gave me a sense of belonging

They helped provide food and clothes for my family through the voucher given and it solved a lot at this time of difficulty for me been a single mother of three children. The Children were excited! Thanks to Starling Collective and the Funders. Thank you.
